HOW CAN THEY BE TURNED OFF?
Unfortunately, there is no mechanism in pyrolysis heaters to directly extinguish the fire. The fire can be extinguished in two ways: simply by letting the pellets finish burning in the combustion chamber or simply with water, although when extinguished with water, the pellets naturally get wet and cannot be rekindled (the latter operation is totally inadvisable because it generates smoke and requires cleaning out the combustion chamber).

HOW IS THE FIRST ASSEMBLY CARRIED OUT?
Our hearths are delivered so that they are practically ready to use: no complicated assembly work is required.

HOW DO THEY TURN ON?
Lighting hearths is very simple:

  • Fill the central tank with about 8 kg of pellets;
  • Tap the hopper toward the ground to make sure the pellets are well compressed;
  • Place a few eco-friendly firelighters and light them with a lighter;
  • Place the stainless steel plate, glass and grill;
  • Set the fan to maximum so as to give proper aeration in order to perfect the pyrolytic process;

The flame will be stably visible after about 15 to 20 minutes. At this point the hearths provide at least 4 hours of continuous fire with flame and at least another 3 hours of fire in the combustion chamber without any other intervention.

CAN ‘ BE USED INDOORS OR ON A PORCH?
Hearths can be installed with outdoor use.
They can be placed in covered outdoor spaces without problems by keeping about one meter distance upward and one meter distance to the sides. Heaters do not produce smoke, but oxygen is still converted and a supply of fresh air must be ensured, so if placed under gazebos, verandas or similar solutions it is recommended to always keep one side open so that there is air recycling.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD THE ASH BE EMPTIED?
If the pyrolysis process is accomplished in its entirety , the tank can be emptied every 2/3 uses : The residual ash is a handful of dust. About 25 grams.
